LOVE is a very strong emotion. It can have us feeling Happy, Sad, Close to Tears, In fits of Laughter, Confused, Lonely and overwhelmed all at exactly the same time. It can happen in an instant or take many years to evolve, or we may never really know true love at all. We can choose who we will love, but we cannot choose who we will FALL in love with. It may be a passing stranger with piercing blue eyes, or a voice over the phone, or some-one so different from what we expected to meet. We all love at different intensities and some cannot love at all. We may wear our hearts on our sleeves or hide behind facades and love from afar. No matter who we are or how we love, we all deserve to feel what LOVE is all about. The butterflies in the stomach and the fire-works as we kiss, The shivers up the spine when a hand meets yours and the euphoria of floating on air. Today's love is for all the wonderful Mother's who have given of themselves. An unselfish and commiting love to have children. To patiently and completely put their lives on hold to nurture and lead their babies to become adults to the best of their ability. To be a MUM can be rewarding, consuming, unrelenting, thankless but mostly it is an unconditional journey filled with devotion that will imprint memories of such magnitude in our minds and hearts and being a MUM never ends until a Mother's heart stops beating. So to all the Wonderful Mother's out in DALand both who are my friends and all who I do not know as well, I wish you a Special Day filled with Love, Family and sweet Memories...........
