IndecisionA soul I am, thats lost my way
Midst the confusion of today
No purpose or zest left in my step
Leaving me shallow, and bereft
The promise in today has come and gone
Taking the tune from within my song

Dark Shadows cast upon the ground
Silently, yes, without a sound
"But" I say "This cannot be"
For You are You and I am Me
And with this life I have to make
For much is here that is at stake

I sigh and think "Where do I start?"
I place my hand upon my heart
Please open up and let me free
Let me see the joy, there is to see
I could not glance in front of me
What should be clear, was perplexity

Cry not for the flower that once was
Or the way of nature or just because
For you see it is this life we seize
Our aim to be or just to please

The struggle of each day that comes
So hard or simple is the bee that hums
His tune as he works all day
We fight within to find our way

I know it has been said before
That how we live defines our core
Our very being is who we are
As sure that near is just as far

We laugh and cry and often say
That life is better when we pray
For all the others and not for us
To learn to give and share the trust

We need to see and not be blind
Of what is pure and who is kind
To give in moments when&#

My Sea.............I walk, I sit, then gaze breathlessly
Inhaling this scene of pure serenity
Such beauty in this moment found
The music, to my ears, this sound
Of crashing waves and mystery deep
With struggles it intends to keep

I sigh when thinking of the souls
lost within the deep blue folds
That something tangible and yet so raw
Can leave you wanting so much more
I tremble as I smell the salt
Mixed with pain and no-ones fault

I look for miles and all I find
Is promise that was meant to bind
Amidst confusion and love's sweet hurt
These grains of sand that turn to dirt
Within my hands it seeps to dust
The sadness torn in loss of trust

A lover's Dance

Oh my love let this dance begin
Of feelings sought and the warmth within
To start what we most surely feel
Our love and lust will yet reveal
Two souls alone but yet as one
A sensous tryst as yet undone

See me please as I do live
A gentle soul with much to give
My Passions raw and senses sweet
Dreaming whence our love will meet
Heat and friction to the flame
Will ignite our temptous game

A gentle touch on skin so raw
Of beauty found and seasons flaw
Can not be found within our eyes
Spread beneath the bluest skies
Oh passion please ignite us still
To sate our love and get our fill

Nature's GiftFeed my hunger with dandelions, and perriwinkles blue
Of sunny days and fresh mown grass, all wet with morning dew
Birds on high in breezes swift, and clouds like fairies flossed
Leaves of every colour and hues in whirlwinds tossed
Icy streams in snowy fields, as cold as winter's breath
Fires warm and mallows roasted, in Mothers toasty hearth

Storms all brewing and tempests freed, to blacken yet the sky
Kites of many colours reaching , to hide in heavens high
Summer's rain or Winter's storm, as soft or in angers met
In trickles, or pelting with such force, pure beauty in nature set
Against the scene of country bliss. in shades of se

A GIFT SO TRUEFrom within the shadows of our past
We reap the benefits they may cast
To learn to shine and shed our fear
Our hearts no longer bleed a tear
Come dance with me and laugh and play
Our souls entwined to find a way

Life is ours to share and live
To love another as well as give
Faith to those who kneel and pray
To share the goodness in every day
Friendship is hope to those with none
And warms our soul as the brightest sun

I give to you just who I am
A simple being who gives a damn
I speak but what my heart does feel
Each word is true and very real
So every day a blessing be
I send this poem to you from me

Some days we seem so lonely
Other days we do not care
Tomorrow we will run and hide
Our Yesterdays just not there
The future has no meaning
Our past just gives us pain
We are blind to all in front of us
No consequence for the gain

We breathe this air of discontent
We hear not what they speak
Our thoughts are just about the want
No courage will make us weak
We forget of what we really need
Of what our hearts desire
To soothe our soul with tranquility
To set our standards higher

We need to give and not to take
To see with eyes open wide
Take joy in every sunrise
Our conscience we abide
Our yesterdays are important

With thornless roses in subtle hues
and scented enigmatic scenario's chasing
away the blues that are being played in
my mind by a never-ending cascade of emotion

With promise in every darkened shadow
hiding hopes and dreams amongst the
reality of burnt ashes and tormented travesties

With passion that ignites my body to the
point of ultimate orgasmic pleasure setting
alight the flames from deep within my soul

Till I feel with every fibre of my being
the pain of loss, of love, of fantasy and reality
mixed like cinnamon sugar but sweeter to taste

Of sounds and words, the fear that feigns

in all the whats and whys

There are no easy answers
to questions we may ask
To find the rhyme or reason
Is not a simple task

In all that means so much
Of Family and all friendship
In the power of human touch

Through our eyes I know we see
The beauty that is meant to be
The love that comes from deep within
We give and share to our sweet kin
We never forget the moments passed
And to our hearts we hold them fast

Hope EternalI am in a moment of my life
Feeling indecision and causing strife
Not knowing when or where to turn
all my thoughts begin to churn

Of my wrongs and all the rights
In useless days and sleepless nights
A tortured soul with angst to shed
Mixed emotions fill my head

I cannot grasp where I belong
In moments short or much too long
I need some strength to find a cure
To rid this blackness to make me pure

The beauty is there but I see it not
A page in time is not forgot
All rests within my heart that beats
Simple days of torturous feats

I step ahead but cannot move
Struck with fear in this endless groove
A hand I need to grasp in mi

Just Me..I am really struggling here.
Not seeing the light in day and being swallowed by the darkness of the night.
Voices pound my head incessantly and shriek shrill messages until my hands cover my ears to block out what I do not want to hear.
But it doesn't help they still find their way into my mindspace.
Screaming.
Shouting.
Cursing.
Laughing.
Mocking.
Oh how I hate what they do to me.
How can I be alive and still breathing when I am in so much pain.
This is not me all the time, in fact I am just like you.
I walk, talk, see and breathe the same air.
But inside I am a twisted, broken mess of emotion.

To say hello and for me to see
What wondorous friends this life can bring
To give us cause for our hearts to sing
So share with friends both far and near
A generous laugh or to shed a tear
Remember that our day is not complete

Tragedy's MuseBlame me not, for I am a disillusioned soul that's lost their way,
midst many a broken promise and shattered dreams
I see, before me, an enveloping darkness that is threatening
my sanity, akin to tempests of somber misconception

Tears fill these clouds to bursting and droplets of their pain fall like
rivulets on unsuspecting passersby with no purpose in their stride
Surprise is etched on their faces as hands wipe the wetness
from their skin, in a hurried fashion, seemingly alike a scalding heat

Sensitivity being an emotion hidden behind forgotten trysts and the
never-ending confusion that to care is the ultimate betrayal

Spoken WordsContinually tripping over my words again.
Why do we always ask "How are you?", when we just want to be polite but really feel the urge to run away.
Do we really want to hear the answer?
Do we get more, in the answer, than we really wanted to hear?
I know, when I say those three words, it is because of habit.
Sounds harsh I guess, but it isn't meant to be, for you see, I do care, but do not want to feel what they may be feeling.
This is the moment when the right words never seem to come out of my mouth.
I stumble over "ohhh" and
"I am so sorry" or
"If there is anything I can do to help".
Yet at that very moment we are struggling

In summer's ray or Winter's breeze
Gives me hopes of which to seize
For I believe, I am left behind
Once so lost, but now to find
A place to feel that I belong
To hum in praise, a bird's sweet song

My life, it seems is at its end
A tree in wind, will always bend
The sun will give us warmth and light
but still it sleeps in dead of night
My time has given memories sweet
To those I love and chanced to meet

We fade in shadows, to those who grow
Once forgotten, as we did know
That time is fair but often cruel
To those who treat life as a fool
Regret and misery, in moments passed
Go yet more swiftly, and much too fast

I want to be, who I once was
With what I've learned and just because
To have it all and more it seems
Is what we hold in all our dreams
My Beauty, Youth and Wisdom pray
Will see me through another day

I sigh, and gently shake awake
These visions I have, and the mistake
To believe that I can turn back time
And bring me Their's, and Yours, and Mine
And together we will see it through
In hope and faith and promise grew

So to our heart our families hold
The Young, the strong and weak and old
To fill this time with love and care
In snapshots hold the days we share
The mind holds pictures of who we are
Always close and never far
