Life's Road

We all seem lost, but at any cost, we must open our eyes to see
The Beauty within, will shadow the sin, and set our demons free

We scream it seems, within our dreams, and yet we do not wake
So hush dont cry, for its goodbye,  our love a barbed mistake

Ragged breaths we breathe, just to believe, another day will come
Our hearts to heal,  to pray and kneel, so Heaven can be done

So often heard, on fallen word, that those who cry no tears
Sing praises strong, of where we belong, and cast away our fears

To be aware, of those who care, and push them not away
For a day will come, to bring undone, those who choose to stray

Hold hope so fast, within your grasp, and place it to your heart
To sigh a sigh, before we die, and to finish what we start

Our lives it seems, are only dreams, that have no where to go
To be as true, and to endure, an eddy in streams that flow

We all must learn, and not to yearn, of which we cannot have
To share the load, on life's long road, with steps of faith we pave........
