Faith

Touch your hand upon my face and wipe away my tears
To give me strength and words of hope to push away my fears
We watch the sun rise in the sky to start a brand new day
To pray a prayer for one and all,  to see a better way
For us to live in this great land  in peace and harmony
To open our eyes and not be blind, for all of us to see
The beauty within will never fade, as sure as our skin will age
Another moment of our life pressed into our life's page


For without a doubt I do accept,  that to dream is to believe
To give without a want in return is far better than to receive
To see a smile or hear a laugh or bring hope to someone's eye's
To make a day a little brighter is faith without disguise
A moment in time can mean so much to one who has the need
to be important once again, a pure and selfless deed
To sustain our lives to be once more,  a happy and  fruitful place
To share with all and sundry in this our human race
